Maui Ocean Tours

Maui snorkeling tours are the most popular ocean tour on Maui. Destinations include Maui beaches such as Honolua Bay Marine Preserve, areas where Hawaiian green turtles congregate, and the islands of Molokini and Lanai.

Okay, I just included this because it has the word tour in the title. But I also like another word - free - Lahaina walking tour which is now part of the Lahaina Historic Trail.

This is a self guided tour where you follow a route of Maui historic sites such as Banyan Tree Park, the old Lahaina Lighthouse, Wo Hing Chinese Museum, Baldwin Missionary home, and the Masters Reading Room.

Several of these sites are maintained by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation.

Roberts Hawaii Tours

A large operator for many tours is Roberts Hawaii - you will see their tour buses all over Maui.

When Hawaii cruise ships port at Lahaina, Roberts Hawaii buses will line up at Lahaina Harbor to transport cruise ship passengers around Maui.

The big buses also somehow navigate the winding road to the summit of the Haleakala volcano.
