Maui Beaches Weather
Surf & Wind Forescast
Maui beaches surf and wind conditions vary on different sides of the island.
Trade winds come from the northeast, so the north and east sides of the Hawaiian islands get a lot more rain, wind and high waves (surf) than the west and south sides.
Maui beaches on the 'leeward' (west) side of the island tend to have less waves - better for swimmers, but not so good for surfers.
These Maui Beaches Surf & Wind Forecast maps from Hawaii Beach Safety list today's beach safety warnings caused by factors such as wind or surf conditions.
