Named the best beach in America in 2003, Kaanapali Beach anchors the resort. This is the classic resort beach - white sand, walkout access from your hotel, and calm seas for swimming and snorkeling.

Sugar cane fields once covered much of Maui. Step back in time on the Maui Sugar Cane Train, popular with young children and railroad enthusiasts who enjoy a relaxing six mile ride between Lahaina and Kaanapali.


Whalers village is a shopping mecca right in the middle of Kaanapali. The three level open air shopping mall also includes oceanfront restaurants and an outdoor stage for cultural events such as nightly free hula shows.


Open daily from 9:30 am to 10 pm, the Whalers Village Museum offers free admission to over 200,00 visitors a year. Inside they have everything you ever wanted to experience about whales and whalers in Maui during the mid 1800's.
